Zander Tyler, better known by his stage name Jack Parow is an Afrikaans rapper from Parow, Cape Town. Due to the interest and rise of the "coolness" phenomena in Afrikaans culture brought on by the many popular South African music groups, he now pursues performing as his full-time career. 

Formed in early 2003, Fokofpolisiekar drew its members, Francois, Hunter, Johnny, Wynand and Jaco, from Cape Town’s burgeoning underground punk scene. Their social-commentary on the frustrations with, and paradoxes of, Afrikaans identity, culture and intertwining Christian conservatism, have been a bone of contention within South Africa’s Afrikaans community.

Die Heuwels Fantasties, formed in 2009, is an Afrikaans electronic band from Bellville, South Africa. The foursome is composed of Hunter Kennedy, Pierre Greeff and Johnny de Ridder.

Mathambo plays the Ndebele counterpoint to Wormstorm’s exuberant Afrikaaner.  Brought together through a mutual love of Prince, the two launched a collaborative music project called Sweat.X which they described as "Afro-electro".
