Cape Town International Jazz Festival
The Cape Town International Jazz Festival, famous for delivering a star-studded lineup, is hosted at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) each year on the last weekend of March or the first weekend of April. The Festival hosts in excess of 30,000 music lovers over the two days.

Sweat.X
Sweat.X is Spoek Mathambo and Markus Wormstorm – they are The EbonyIvoryTron. Mathambo plays the Ndebele counterpoint to Wormstorm’s exuberant Afrikaaner. Brought together through a mutual love of Prince, the two launched a collaborative music project called Sweat.X which they described as "Afro-electro".
Mix 'N Blend
From the sound-soaked streets of Cape Town city, Mix n Blend DJ/ production duo has been giving electro boogie lovers a reason to throw their hands in the air and dance like no one’s watching since 2001. Mix n Blend remain the authoritative groove of sonic originality.
ISO
Formed in late 2006, this alternative pop rock band has managed to use their unique music and inspiring live performances as their introduction to an industry that has quickly elevated them to a well-respected group with an enviable reputation in the circuit.
Dank
His infectious, squelchy glitch-hop bass lines and neck-break beats are always bangingly loud and penetrate through your body. Bordering on funky at times, Dank completely inhabits every room or festival that he plays at, and one cannot help but stop and jump around when he plays.
Tumi and the Volume
It’s been a decade since the Jozi-based Tumi and the Volume, without the benefit of a local precedent, went about making a band. They transitioned from spoken word experimentalists to being the only Hip-hop outfit of its kind as far as style and accomplishment in South Africa, and even beyond.
