Dookoom is fronted by Cape Flats' Isaac Mutant. Musically Dookoom is a combination of raw, unfiltered, menacing Cape Flats street rap delivered over an aggressive, apocalyptic onslaught of hardcore, industrial strength beats with sonic stains of grime, trap, pervert pop, punk and drum and bass. 

It all started in September 2004, when best friends Rian Zietsman, Loedi van Renen and Louis Nel invited George van der Spuy to a jam session at a military base. Their sound can be described as blues-infused, retro rock with a pinch of sleaze and bourbon.

Zander Tyler, better known by his stage name Jack Parow is an Afrikaans rapper from Parow, Cape Town. Due to the interest and rise of the "coolness" phenomena in Afrikaans culture brought on by the many popular South African music groups, he now pursues performing as his full-time career.

Their social-commentary on the frustrations with, and paradoxes of, Afrikaans identity, culture and intertwining Christian conservatism, have been a bone of contention within South Africa’s Afrikaans community.

Die Heuwels Fantasties, formed in 2009, is an Afrikaans electronic band from Bellville, South Africa. The foursome is composed of Hunter Kennedy, Pierre Greeff and Johnny de Ridder.
