The Squire celebrates 18 years of SA music

The Squire’s Birthday Bash will take place from 12-13 April at Rumours, featuring over 40 bands and acoustic artists playing an eclectic mix of rock, metal, prog, afro and acoustic tunes on three stages.

Over the past two decades Simon Foulds aka the Squire has worked with thousands of emerging bands and musos creating platforms and opportunities. His Battle of the Bands (Battle 4 Rumours) is now in its 18th year and has been a launching pad for bands like Seether, Freshly Ground, the Parlotones, Prime Circle, 340 ml and countless others.
 
Music starts at 2.30m ending at midnight. On the Sunday the music starts at 2pm ending at 9.30pm. Cover charge on each day is R50 per person.
