Lineup for CT World Music Fest announced

The Cape Town World Music Festival will take place 18-19 July 2014 at Cape Town's City Hall, and is endorsed by the City of Cape Town and The World Design Capital. 

 

Full lineup:

 

Friday, from 6pm

 

Main Stage: Uruguay, Los Tacos, Carlo Mombelli, The Brother Moves On, and Vieux Farka Toure (Mali)

 

Seated Stage: Ottoman Slap, Derek Gripper and Madala Kunene

 

Electronic Stage: Miss H, Okmalumkoolkat Live and Jakobsnake.

Saturday, from 4.30pm

 

Main Stage: Jam You (CHN), Sannie Fox, The Tulips, Mynahbirds (USA), DJ Clock ft. Beatenberg, Beatenberg and Thandiswa Mazwai.

 

Seated Stage: Bongeziwe and Guy Battery

 

Electronic Stage: DJ Mighty, DJ Clock and Danger Ingozi

 

In the build up to the main event, participating artists and industry innovators will be giving free talks and master classes in and around the festival.
