Johnny Apple debut album out
SA’s Got Talent 2013 winner Johnny Apple has released his self-titled debut album. Johnny was announced as the winner of the competition on 18 October last year.
Earlier in 2014 he co-wrote a track called Monday Night with Flash Republic frontwoman Tamara Day and SA songwriter Andre Scheepers, produced by Crighton Goodwill and Brian O’ Shea (renowned for work with Elvis Blue). The track was released as his official debut single in June, receiving airplay on stations across South Africa.
Johnny’s new single Warrior was released to radio last month. Simultaneously, his cover of Beatenberg’s Rafael received national airplay as well as critical and fan acclaim upon release.
