BazaSon & Principlez Afrika video released
The music video for BazaSon & Principlez's third single, Afrika, has been released. The single will form part of their soon-to-be-released Eclipse EP collaboration.
Afrika features Sinayo Mhaya.
"As the song was about Africa and where we are headed, the video lended itself to visuals of Africa, past news footage, leaders, etc. However, we didn't want to create just another depressing montage of African newsreel footage. This idea, and an attempt to make something unique that would stand out, lead to the concept of a moving newspaper featuring the artists, allowing us to present African imagery alongside the artists as they performed," explains director Matthew Griffiths of Echoledge Productions.
"We filmed the three artists in studio and then composited them into the newspaper along with various graphics and typography to create something we felt had a unique look and feel. The result is an animated newspaper that tells the narrative of the song and enhances the lyrical content."
The Eclipse EP will be released in June 2014.
