SkyRoomLive offers Breathe Sunshine Engage live streaming

SkyRoomLive has announced that it will be live streaming the Breathe Sunshine Engage (BSE) Music Conference globally. Viewers will have access to the panel discussions and keynote addresses.

BSE takes place on Friday, 3 October, at The Market Theatre, Newtown.  It’s a one-day event aimed at anyone wanting to learn more about the music industry and features some of SA’s best local acts alongside international heavyweights. You can either attend in person for R195, or you can log on to www.skyroomlive.com and watch it online.  
 
Terry Weerasinghe, VP of Music Services at Beatport, will be flying in to chat about the boom in dance music worldwide and how Africa can tap into it. He’ll also cover how labels, artists and others can participate in building a global community that makes music available to a broader audience and deepens the relationship between artists and their fans.  
 
Other interesting topics include “The management vacuum in the SA music industry” and “Taking SA house music global”.
