Orange launches StarAfrica Sounds 2015
Promoting African music talents, StarAfrica.com - Orange’s entertainment portal in Africa - is launching the fourth edition of the StarAfrica Sounds music contest. Last year's edition featured 88 candidates with more than 50,000 votes.
From 31 March 2015 to 26 May 2015, the candidates can register on StarAfrica.com, proposing an original song representative of their musical style.
From 26 May 2015 to 7 July 2015, the public will be invited to vote online for their favourite acts.
A jury, composed of music professionals, will award the Jury Prize winner with the announcement made on StarAfrica.com on 10 July 2015.
The 10 finalists will feature on the StarAfrica Sounds 2015 compilation.
Prizes:
- The winner of the Public Prize will be given coverage on StarAfrica.com as well as Deezer Africa and North Africa, an interview on Africa N°1, a Deezer 4 Artists certified account, six months free access to Deezer Premium+ and free distribution of three albums on Zimbalam.
- The runner's up for the Public Prize will be awraded a Deezer 4 Artists certified account, six months free access to Deezer Premium+ and free distribution of three albums on Zimbalam.
- The Jury Prize winner will receive coverage on StarAfrica.com and Deezer Africa and North Africa, an interview on Africa N°1, a Deezer 4 Artists certified account, six months free access to Deezer Premium+ and free distribution of three albums on Zimbalam.
