Inaugural Short&Sweet Music Video Awards winners

The inaugural Short&Sweet Music Video Awards Show took place late last month at the Youngblood Gallery in Bree Street, Cape Town, after receiving over 200 submissions in 11 categories.

Each winner was presented with an award specially designed Alejandra Olivera. The winner of Best New Director, Louis Minnaar, won a one-year contract with Caviar Content London, a production company that aims to empower talent across various film industry platforms.

Submissions for this year’s awards will be opening during Cape Town Music Week in September. All music videos produced by a South African national and that have been created between October 2014 and October 2015 will be eligible for submission.
